1. Senko from The Helpful Fox Senko-san
Senko is a sweet fox girl. Basically, her story is that she breaks into this depressed dude’s apartment, cooks for him takes care of him, and lets him give her head pats. Actually, if I remember correctly, there was also some tail fluffing involved. Thanks to her, the guy gets rid of his negative thoughts. Senko is a fox girl god who is about 800 years old and she can make portals, fly, make “fox fire”, and can use telekinesis. However, she doesn’t like fighting and is a pacifist.
2. Yukikaze Panettone from Dog Days
A formidable member of the Biscotti Knights Secret Squad, Yukikaze regards the other members of the squad as her brothers. She is a very quick and energetic fox girl on the battlefield and is famous for being able to take down even the strongest foes. She works with Brioche d’Arquien, whom she totally admires and addresses with great reverence. Besides her blonde hair and light gold tail, Yukikaze is well-known for her large bust.
3. Koto from Yu Yu Hakusho
The referee and commentator for the Dark Tournament and the Demon World Tournament, Koto seems delighted to see the blood spills. Koto is actually a demon but has foxlike features with triangular ears and a bushy, light brown fur tail. She is very good at what she does and a hard-working person. She does work for the bad guys, though.
4. Yuzu from Konohana Kitan
As you can probably tell just by looking at this fox girl, Yuzu has an innocent and loving side to her. She is the kind of person who is there for everyone around her and works to reunite her friends and family. Yuzu is a fox girl with blonde hair and has small clusters of hair sticking out of the bottom edges of her foxy ears.
5. Kugen Tenko from Our Home’s Fox Deity
The main protagonist of the show, Kugen is a thousand-year-old metal Yokai fox deity who can transform into a man or a woman. She has a very mischievous nature which got it sealed away by the Water Priest Miyako Takagami until the situation forced the Mizuchi family to free it with Kugen’s help. Kugen is very smart and was able to almost instantly figure out modern-day technology.
6. Zakuro from Otome Youkai Zakuro
The titular character of the show, Zakuro is a half-demon warrior. She is a very skilled fighter, who uses a cherry blossom tree branch that turns into a dagger when in battle. Besides her regular human look, Zakuro can also turn into a divine being due to her heredity. The problem is that she has no idea of how to control this divine mode.
7. Sakura Bokuseiinmonzeninari from Hyper Police
Sakura is a top anime fox girl spirit who was born only with 8 and 1/5 tails instead of nine. Since a kitsune must have a full nine tails to reach the full extent of its power, Sakura has spent decades hunting for a powerful being to consume, in order to reach that full power. When Sakura first sees protagonist Natsuki Sasahara in action, she joins the Hyper Police in hopes of consuming Natsuki and gaining her full ninth tail. Now, that’s beautifully odd!
8. Chizuru Minamoto from Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox
Although a four-hundred-year-old fox girl spirit, Chizuru looks like a second-year high school student. Well, typical if you don’t take into account her fox ears and golden fox tail when she changes into her kitsune form. In this form, she is very strong, capable of producing blue flames and fusing with Kouta Oyamada, the protagonist of the show, making herself even stronger.
9. Kunou from High School DxD Hero
As you can see, Kunou is a full nine-tailed, which is legendary. As such, she can use foxfire, but due to her young age, it is still relatively weak in power. Kunou is a princess and the ruler of Kyoto. Despite her young age, Kunou is very responsible and knows how to carry herself like a princess. However, she still has a childish side to her, which is entertaining.
10. Haruhime Sanjouno from Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?
Raised as a dignified woman of noble blood, Haruhime was later captured by bandits and sold to a brothel. She was bought by Ishtar, head of the Ishtar Familia, and was forced to work in the streets for a while. Haruhime is a beautiful fox girl with blonde hair and fox ears. As a person, she is shy, gentle, and respectful of everyone she meets.
11. Miko from No Game No Life
Representative of the ecchi harem anime, Miko is the fox girl ruler of the Eastern Union. She is a great strategist and a very capable politician, having almost singlehandedly ended thousand years of Werebeast civil war and united the many Werebeast tribes into one Eastern Union. Miko has golden hair, fox ears, whiskers, and two golden tails.
12. Kitsunemen no Onna from Kiitaro’s Yokai Picture Diary
The Kiitarou Shounen no Youkai Enikki show focuses on a boy named Kiltarou who has a very strong supernatural sense. As such, Kiltarou befriends Suzu, a house spirit and together they attract all sorts of spiritual creatures. One of them is Kitsunemen, who is a folkloric creature with long blonde hair and a long bushy tail. As you can probably tell, she is one of the best anime fox girls you can imagine.
13. Tamamo no Mae from Omamori Himari
Finally, an evil anime fox girl is on this list. Tama may look like an angel, but she is actually one of the Three Great Demons of Japan. She actually has two forms – one of a young girl around 10 years old and a more powerful one, in which she is an incredibly beautiful girl in her late teens. In the second form, she has very long blonde hair and her breast size significantly increases.
14. Jiuer Su from Yaoguai Mingdan
One of the best anime fox girls, Jiuer Su is a nine-tailed fox and the main heroine of the show. She is practically immortal, having lived for thousands of years, during which she has seen her boyfriend Feng Xi reincarnate many times. Jiuer Su has beautiful long brown hair which is most iconic when it flutters about in the wind

One of the Servants of Ritsuka Fujimaru, Tamamo appears human, but with fox characteristics such as her ears and tail. Tamamo is ok with being called a fox and likes her fluffy ears. Since Tamamo was created from the essence of the sun by the goddess of the sun, she has a much larger power potential than human-spawned Heroic Spirits. However, because she willingly decided to embrace the role of a Servant, many of her unique powers have been sealed away, putting her on the same level as other human Heroic Spirits.
16. Susu Tushan from Fox Spirit Matchmaker
A fox spirit in training, Susu is a small girl with fox ears. Susu is very fond of sweet snacks and carries all sorts of candy with her. She often uses these snacks to bribe Bai Yuechu, who is her true love and her partner for adventures.
17. Yoko from Inukami!
Yoko is a fox spirit and Keita’s first Inukami. As such, she serves Keita and fights evil all over the world. Although she thinks her master Keita is very kind, she loves playing tricks on him, which is part of her tricky nature.
18. Kon from Kemono Jihen
Another anime fox girl, Kon is most iconic wearing her white hoodie with ears that conceal her large fox ears. Kon does whatever she can to satisfy her superior lady, Inari. The problem is that Inari’s manipulations over the years have made Kon emotionally dependent on Inari’s approval and she becomes visibly distressed when she doesn’t get it.
19. Hishamaru from Tokyo Ravens
One of Yakou’s familiars, Hishamaru was constantly at his side during her lifetime. After her master died, she disappeared. Later, she became a servant of Harutora Tsuchimikado, who is Yakou’s reincarnation. She served both Harutora and Yakou faithfully.
20. Holo from Spice and Wolf
Over 600 years old, Holo looks like a 15-year-old girl. At the beginning of the story, Holo serves as Pasloe town’s goddess of harvest who has kept it blessed with good harvests for many years. However, since she feels she has kept her promise to maintain the good harvests for so long, she persuades a traveling merchant named Lawrence to take her with him. On the way, Holo’s wisdom helps Lawrence increase his profits. However, Holo’s true nature as a goddess draws unwanted attention from the Church.
21. Mashiro Mito from Tayutama: Kiss on my Deity
Mashiro is a powerful Tayutai with the job to defeat evil Tayutai. She does that with her large hammer and magical powers. Mashiro is in love with Yuri Mito and decides to marry him also because she believes that guys his age should already be married. Yuuri agrees to her proposal, but with the condition, he’ll only marry her when she grew up. However, Mashiro gains that older body overnight!
22. Tsumiki Miniwa from Acchi Kocchi
When Tsumiki starts to develop feelings for her best friend Io Otonashi, things get complicated. Is it worth the risk to change their friendship for what she wants? However, when she sees Io she’s sometimes so excited that she forms fox ears and a tail. Somehow, Io is oblivious to her intense crush on him, despite getting teased about it by Mayoi.
23. Ginji from Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits
Ok, this is kind of tricky, because Ginji is a trap and this is a list of the best anime fox girls. So, allow me to explain: Ginji is a nine-tailed fox who usually looks like a young man with white fox ears. However, he can transform into nine variations of himself, one of which is a young beautiful woman. In this form, his nine tails are proportionally larger than his body. Got it?
24. Lily the Fox Mechanic from Lost Pause
One of my favorite anime fox girls, Lily has fox ears on each side of the top of her head, and a tail located just under her lower back. She is about 5’5 and has fairly long light grey hair.
25. Bonbori and Hozuki from Otome Youkai Zakuro
Bonbori and Hozuki are twin fox girls who are never apart. The two work at the Ministry of Spirit Affairs. They are always dressed the same and like to confuse people with their identical appearance. Although the twins were abandoned in childhood, they both have a cheerful personality that manages to brighten everyone’s mood.
26. Yozora from The Helpful Fox Senko-san
Although not a major character, Yozora is one of the most memorable anime fox girls ever! She has a round figure and four big, purple fox tails with light purple tips. Also, her conduct is extremely seductive and she tends to flirt and tease guys. She certainly left an impression on me.
27. Susukihotaru from Otome Youkai Zakuro
I already had characters from Otome Youkai Zakuro on this list, but I sure couldn’t leave Susukihotaru out. She is a half-demon who is assigned to the Ministry of Spirit Affairs, paired to work with Riken Yoshinokazura. At first, she is afraid of him but later falls in love with him. Susukihotaru has some supernatural abilities, such as the power to sense the emotions of humans or objects by touch. She is also a very skilled fighter, although not like Zakuro, who is crazy strong.
28. Kiri from Konohana Kitan
Yeah, Kiri does look a bit like Yuzu, who is also on this list, but Kiri is older and the head attendant of Konohanatei. That means she is Yuzu’s attendant and always looks out for her and the other attendants. Kiri and Yuzu don’t interact a lot but they both do get along when they do.
29. Shiro from The Helpful Fox Senko-san
One of the coolest anime fox girls, Shiro is a silver-haired kitsune with fox ears and a tail. She also has red eyes and two red stripes on her cheeks. Shiro is super-powered with abilities such as telepathy and fox-fire. Although she starts the show as somehow arrogant, she later befriends Kuroto and Senko. She is at least 500 years old but still younger than Senko.
30. Kogitsune from Natsume’s Book of Friends
To be honest, according to some sources Kogitsune, aka Little Fox, is a male. However, watching the series I was sure he/she was a young girl. Either way, the story is that Kogitsune was saved by Natsume from youkai bullies and decided to follow Natsume since he/she concluded that Natsume was also alone. However, it turns out that Natsume is not alone at all. The good news is that after his meeting with Natsume Kogitsune became stronger and tougher to the point he/she was able to protect him/herself.
31. Latifa from Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles
A is regarded as one of the most beautiful creatures in anime, and Latifa is no exception. In addition to being cunning and intelligent, Latifa is an assassin able to outwit her adversaries easily. Although she does not want to be alone, she kills everyone she sees. It shows how lonely and terrified Latifa felt since she was isekai’ed into this world that she would rather have the collar on to be with Rio.
