Isekai Harem anime with an OP MC provides us with the best distraction from reality and transfers us to a fantasy world in search of a more exciting life. That is why Japan produces endless isekai anime shows with overpowered main characters that suddenly find themselves in a completely different world. There, the MC usually becomes OP or is op from the get-go.
There has always been a dominant isekai trend that spanned for ages, only for the bubble to finally burst from oversaturation. A constant cycle of regurgitated shows with little innovation nor passion in their works. Thus isekai harem could have been the next popular trend to take its place.
The genre has a lot of justified criticism because there is too much of it. But when Isekai combines with the Harem, it has the potential to spice up the genre with the “Protagonist dies, reincarnates, and gets overpowered in a harem world full of adoring girls”.
When done right, isekai harem shows with an overpowered protagonist can be fun as long as they have likable characters.
So if you are looking for fun shows, l have compiled a review list of the best isekai harem anime with OP MC that you should try.
Let us reset the power levels and let’s being! Spoiler alert ahead.
Isekai Harem Anime with an OP MC: Top 15 Ranked
15. Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo
English title: Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World, Studio: Passione, Episodes: 12
If you sail the high seas of Meikyuu de Harem wo you will find an exciting isekai harem anime with OP MC in each episode. It is a slow build to the harem and details even the smallest of interactions which makes it an engrossing story.
Meet Michio Kaga, he gets transported into a game and gets used to the new world very quickly. Bold MC builds up his powers as he works his ass off to become the best OP MC that slays countless monsters in the labyrinth. He learns that by killing tons of bandits he can get their stuff.
As he wanders off, he meets a slave owner in a special place. The slave owner is a slick businessman and he gets Michio to get him some money in exchange for one of his thicc girls, Roxanne. Our OP MC gets enlightenment after watching Roxanne’s “jiggle bells”. Now he is willing to go all the way to buy his foxy girl.
There is no real plot in this show, you just want the isekai to get to the harem part, that is where the OP MC “lies” and meets the rest of the harem, Miria, Vesta, and Rutina.
14. Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou, Murabito A ni Tensei suru
English title: The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody, Studio: SILVER LINK., Blade, Episodes: 12
In this iseaki harem the OP MC goes back and forth between “I’m just a normal MC” and “Yeah I’m kind of OP”.
Demon Lord Varvatos, is known as the strongest entity to ever exist, but even he starts to get bored of being overly powerful. He decides to start fresh by reincarnating as a nobody.
Even after reincarnating and significantly weakening himself, the Mc remains overpowered.
To make things worse, the repercussion of abandoning his previous position starts to hunt him in some of the most bizarre ways imaginable. Well, he still has his powers, plus there are lots of cute girls.
If you have the mentality of a teenager and you like isekai shows spiced up with harem, then you will probably find yourself watching all the episodes.
This anime is not going to be for everybody. The super powerful main character wants friends, and never finding that relationship with another is endearing. It is alright but fell off because too many aspects are not properly explained. The world-building and character development are both extremely poorly executed.

English title: The 8th son? Are you kidding me?, Studio: SynergySP, Shin-Ei Animation, Episodes: 12
Next on my list is a show that has the best excuse to go to another world. Sure we all would love to be OP MC and get the girls fainting with adoration, but The 8th Son figured out a better excuse, taking a nap.
A 25-years-old Japanese businessman wakes up in a fantasy realm as a 6-years-old heir to a poor farm castle. Wendelin von Benno Baumeister is the eighth son of the noble Baumeister family. As the eighth son.
Wendelin finds out that he basically has to start life all over again and readjust. At some point he
runs across a mage user, and just like magic, he becomes really powerful, he is crazy powerful. The OP MCs in some of these isekai harem shows, start out really weak and become overpowered, but this guy? He is the best of the best right off the bat.
Now with his knowledge as a salaryman and new-found magic, Wendelin embarks on a quest to find his path in this new world.
I know you’re wondering where the harem at. Well, Wendelin adjusted nicely, he has a total of 20 mistresses, fiancees, and wives adoring his ass! Now I’ll leave you to do the math to determine the level of harem.
This is a lighthearted take on the isekai harem with OP MC genre in which you could just shut your brain off and enjoy some overall not-terrible OP MC. If you don’t look for a jigsaw puzzle to challenge your brain, then you will figure out all the pieces of the puzzle.
The one thing I did like about this show was the fact that they didn’t skirt around the romance for like 12 episodes. The protagonist basically gets engaged straight away and then he has his two mistresses straight away. I do like how simple and easy flow of the storyline.
12. Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru
English title: The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat, Studio: T SILVER LINK., Studio Palette, Episodes: 12
Lugh Tuatha De is a rough man who is an experienced assassin working for the “Organization”. He kills for a living until the killing turns on him and he gets betrayed and murdered by the organization. However, a miracle in the form of a bootleg aqua gives him the isekai card and a second chance at life. He finds himself in a world of magic swords, and harem, lots of harem.
But there is a catch the goddess wants to use Lugh’s assassin skills to murder the legendary hero of a generic JRPG fantasy setting. He gets the harem character, Tarte, a poor slave he saved. She becomes the typical obedient love interest that follows her master’s every command.
In the next episodes, it is an endless cycle of Lugh training his skills with his parents either praising him for his exceptional talent or forcing him to entertain.
The first four episodes were great, but it became a typical silver link isekai adaptation. This show is not really anything groundbreaking or at all a masterpiece. It lacks depth and emotion in its writing. As far as enjoyment goes, I like the concept minus the generic isekai harem OP MC trope which was not needed.
The World’s Finest Assassin is another show among the large ensemble of isekai harem mediocrity.

English title: Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody, Studio: SILVER LINK., Connect, Episodes: 12
Ichiro, a 29-year-old programmer is stuck in a world that he programmed himself. He discovers his powerful abilities and becomes a high-level player. After exploring his character’s true OP potential he decides to keep it low and not cause any commotion.
Death March is yet another isekai harem anime with OP MC that is based on the concept of the protagonist stuck in a video game. Unfortunately, it seems that every isekai needs the same cookie-cutter MMORPG fantasy world. This genre is definitely been milked to hell, however, the unique part is that the main character is op but he uses his powers in a more interesting way since in the real world he is much older. Ichiro shows off a mysterious feeling to the viewers about what he’s planning to do which makes it interesting.
This isekai is very much a harem, the OP main character actually is self-aware that a lot of his harem girls that are chasing him should probably go for someone more their own age. It is a self-aware Harem.
Overall Death March has its flaws but is still interesting if you like RPGs or the gaming genre then you might like this.

English title: The Ambition of Oda Nobuna, Studio: Madhouse, Studio: Gokumi, Episodes: 12
In the isekai harem genre characters never know what kind of universe, or era, they might transport to. Some characters are fortunate enough to be transported to a world with magical power-ups, while others find themselves in a game with futuristic abilities. Then there is our Op Mc who was transported to the medieval period, an era of political upheaval and warlordism in Japan.
Yoshiharu Sagara, a 17-year-old teenager MC is isekaied and awakens in the middle of a war. However, he is rescued by Hideyoshi Toyotomi, a legendary figure, but at the price of his own life. While dying, Hideyoshi requests Yoshiharu to succeed him as a feudal lord after he passed away, which he honorably accepts.
It didn’t take Yoshiharu a lot of time to figure out that he has time-traveled to an alternative reality where cute females are warlords. As the newly appointed feudal lord, we accompany Yoshiharu on an adventure with his commander, Nobuna, and other female warriors as he uses his knowledge of history to predict battles and aid Nobuna in the conquest of conquering Japan.
I liked this show because the female characters actually have some powers, not like the usual useless harem where a girl can’t fight any opponent without adoring the op mc.
9. Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei
English title: The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made, Studio: Hotline, Episodes: 12
If you have a special place in your heart for weird and twisted isekai harem anime with OP MC, this is for you.
An entire school’s intercom is hacked, and the students are ordered to team up and prepare to be iskekaied, so they better team up. MC Hiragi always gets picked last, he gets roasted a lot. His classmates have all the cool powers.
When he does his usual crying routine and wanders into a weird forest, Higari finds some coconut. Some monkeys steal it, then they start to worship MC. So he decides to steal it back. Monkeys get angry, and right before they kill him, MC gets saved. Then He meets a hot gorilla, they develop a romance, gorilla dies.
Turns out he ate a magic nut the “Fruit Of Evolution”, and Higari turns into this handsome OP MC. Anyway, the harem kicks in, and the dead gorilla turns into a beautiful woman. Then he meets a bunch of girls, and they all fight over his OP ass.
Since we are on the subject of overpowered main characters, Hiragi is a straight-up god. He destroys an indestructible dungeon, smashes an alien, kills the world’s strongest dragon, creates a sun(!), and brings a planet back to life.
On the harem side, it shows five girls taking a bubble bath together, animals get turned into girls, and girls join the OP MC’s harem party, it is a ridiculous isekai, yet worth watching for the cringe pleasure.
8. Seiken Tsukai no World Break
English title: World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman, Studio: Diomedéa, Episodes: 12
This show takes place in a private school involving the concept of OP main characters called “Saviors”, they are known as people who possess powers from their past lives and can harness those memories to use weaponry magic.
The isekai harem’s Op Mc is a young boy named Moroha Haimura. He comes to this private school. He barely remembers who he was in the past life. But then, he encounters the reincarnation of his sister… you see where I’m going with this one.
The main problem is the characters, we have an isekai show with an over-the-top harem stereotype and a girl character whose only purpose is to upset with her hyperactive behavior.
However, I enjoyed the comedy that was brought upon by those characters. It eased me into the harem with laughter, and then dragged me in with the full plot of the anime.
It is an eye-pleaser anime and easy to watch. And if you are not directly looking for the best masterpiece, just being fun to watch will make it worth your time.
7. Ore dake Haireru Kakushi Dungeon
English title: The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter, Studio: Okuruto Noboru, Episodes: 12
Yeah, this is another isekai harem anime with OP MC who has skills that let him do a bunch of powerful stuff. But to activate it, he needs points that are gained through, well, doing greedy gluttonous, or lustful deeds.
The protagonist, Noir Stalgia, gains the power to create, edit, and/or bequeath skills for himself or others. In exchange for points that he accumulates, he gets every girl he sees. The girls are pretty hot.
Finally, an isekai harem where the protagonist is not scared of getting to second base. I enjoyed it, usually, it takes several seasons for the MC to kiss someone and this guy does it in the first episode (!!!). It is definitely worth watching! but every time there is a potential love interest, the OP MC wets himself like a scared child. More shows need a man with some balls, seriously!
The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter gets ripped on a lot but you will still watch it. This is a decent isekai harem with OP MC. Good recommendation if you just want to turn your brain off and not think about how the plot.
6. Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles
English title: Spirit Chronicles, SynergySP, Studio: TMS Entertainment, Episodes: 12
This isekai harem has a whole premise of an overpowered main character seducing a whole bunch of girls and making them wonder when they’re gonna see him again. The series is a prologue source bait.
Spirit Chronicles had potential, it had good motivation and revenge with the MC’s mother getting murdered, but it’s another isekai that for some reason, is at the top of everyone’s seasonal’s anime charts. It does very little with its potential, there is nothing new.
To make a long story short, Haruto, the OP MC, is a 20-year-old student who dies in a car accident and wakes up in an unfamiliar realm inside the body of a young boy named Rio, a smelly dweller.
Rio and Haruto’s consciousnesses merge, and Haruto realizes that Rio is OP with mad skills. He saves a princess from a bunch of kidnappers, a practical hero. OP MC gets rewarded with torture and is accused of kidnapping the princess (He is seven years old for god sake!) Finally, he is released and goes off to a royal academy.
Nothing really special happens after that. RIO/Haruto is the only focus, he is too perfect at everything. It wastes a lot of time/potential on pointless things. Overall, Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles is a decent series, and like basically any isekai harem, I enjoyed watching it even if it is not the best show.
5. Princess Connect! Re:Dive
English title: – , Studio: CygamesPictures, Episodes: 13
MC Yuuki falls down from the sky, further down the line we find out about Yuuki’s past. The op mc doesn’t know who he is or his past, but he gets help from an elf named Kokoro. She looks after him in a motherly fashion and teaches him about the isekai mechanic, how to handle coins, fight monsters, and so on.
The two meet a sexy cat girl, a skilled girl warrior, and the four MC decide to form a guild of their own.
Princess Connect is just laid-back and relaxed. You can call this a rather powerful fantasy version of Konosuba, except the degeneracy, is replaced with wholesomeness.
While the male protagonist is sounded by many girls, it is not the usual harem, it’s mostly on a friendly basis. The female MC, Pecorine, Kokoro, and Kyaru, are just friends with Yuuki. They treat him like a little brother always getting himself in trouble because he is so young.
I was confused many times during the episodes, but the Princess connect is so bright and full of color. It has gorgeous visuals. There were a few elements that felt a bit odd to me, but the overall feeling is quite light-hearted and it is also quite fun.
4. Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki
English title: How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, Studio: J.C.Staff, Episodes: 13
The MC, Kazuya Souma, is isekai’d into a failing kingdom and instead of turning into a predictable Iseaki harem with an overpowered character that goes around destroying things, instead, he uses the powers of economics and politics.
I found this to be a fresh take on the isekai harem genre. For once we have an OP MC who is not the best at killing monsters as a solution for everything, but an intellect who excels in politics and governance. I actually liked the parts about basic economics, the rebuilding of the kingdom, and the war.
It is a good underrated show for those who don’t like the MC being too OP. That being said, the harem aspect makes no sense and was a bit of a cringe. Girls fawn over him for no absolute reason. It seems too forced that instead of inserting the predictable harem over the muscular loser, the girls are blown away by the MC’s big brain.

English title: Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs, Studio: ENGI, Episodes: 12
Our protagonist, Leo, is blackmailed by his sister to play a reverse harem dating sim game so that she can make sense of it (His sister really is a horrible person).
After spending many days and nights playing the game he achieves that 100 completion score until he finally remembers that he needs to eat to survive, so he goes outside to the real world to get some food. Since this is isekai, we get yet another main character reincarnated into a fantasy game world, but with harem twist.
Mc gets into the dating sim world where men get no respect and women hold all the best power. Leo is reborn as a background mob character. Instead of being the usual OP MC, Leo says “Nah, I will go the academy and get a normal suburban life with a wife and live a relaxing life in the country.”
But first, he needs cash to live like an everyday Joe, and lucky for him, Leo basically spent his life savings on rolling Genshin impact, which is our MC OP specialty. Life can be easy as long as he doesn’t get involved with the main characters. But he does, and things begin to get interesting.
Of course, it has all the generic isekai harem anime with OP MC such as choosing the best option to get your desired girl, destroying mech, and so on, so I actually skipped this anime at first. But, then I saw how hilarious MC was. Leo is the most pretentious jerk you have ever seen. I love it.
Trapped in a Dating Sim was the dark horse of anime, it was a breath of fresh air. It will find its way of taking the cake even if you are not a big harem isekai OP MC fan.
2. Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru
English title: Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious, Studio: White Fox, Episodes: 12
The MC is overpowered but overly cautious. You might wonder how the isekai harem’s plot works. Ristarte, a useless harem goddess, is tasked with going to different worlds and saving them from a demon lord, all isekais have those. Luckily for her, she gets to summon some guy to play hero and save the parallel words from destruction.
While running through the applications she picks an overpowered main character named Seiya Ryuuguuin, a dashing young man. She was blinded by his CV and instead of getting a bold OP MC, she get a cautious guy. Seya is not overpowered – but his opponents are.
After a series of training, OP MC goes to save the world from four demon queens he defeats the demons. In the process, he is joined by more harem crew to kill the demon lord. Now we follow our Hero Seiya on an adventurous journey of saving lives while taking absurd extraordinary precautions.
I had a lot of fun with this show. It starts out with all the stale isekai harem embodied in an OP character, but then Seiya is not your usual strong male lead. What really hits me was just how seriously everything is taken. It shows a hero that has only one life to live. The stakes are high, If he dies, everybody dies. It creates a stark contrast with all other cliche harem isekaies.
Cautious Hero It is a fun show, lighthearted, and just what you need.
1. Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu
English title: Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-, Studio: Madhouse, C2C, Episodes: 12
Poor MC Makoto, he gets a bad deal and is isekai’d but he makes the best of it forming a contract with a dragon. The OP MC signs an agreement to protect his siblings letting him be sent to another world only for the goddess of that world to betray him.
Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu really does interesting concepts like the mc acknowledging that he is being iskeaid and leaving a note for his family and that he does this to protect his siblings. The fact that he is quite OP since the beginning has been handled pretty well because he is the child of people from another world. This can explain why the Male mc is so strong. Another interesting concept is that the gods of this world are in contact with gods from another world.
This show has me impressed. The visuals are much more solid than I thought they would be, a stacked roster of voice actors, and the comedy is on point. The OP is a banger too. Yes, there are two harem girls, Tomoe and Mio, who fell in love with the MC. But the characters have the mentality of that medieval world where the female servants are supposed to delight their master during the night. So the harem is not forced.
Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy is one of the funnier ones, it will get you hooked.
