Blue and Yellow Superheroes

In 1929, a pamphlet first appeared that resembled modern comic books, with an illustrated cover and color print. Those initial comic books were printed in low quality on thin and cheap paper, but their price was very low – a few cents per booklet.

The four-color process used in the 40s by Marvel and DC comics used a rough but cheap color rendering process. And so we began to see new superheroes wearing bright blues and yellows, greens, and reds. The original art for most of the characters that launched comics back in the ’40s was simplistic. Here are some of the most iconic superheroes that wear blue and yellow.
